Changes in the Executive Board

Bielefeld, 28 August 2009. The Supervisory Board of Biogas Nord AG has accepted the request of current CFO, Matthias Kubat, to stand down with immediate effect. Mr Kubat is also relinquishing all his executive duties in Biogas Nord AG’s foreign subsidiaries.

The contractual relationship will be terminated to 31 August 2009. Mr Kubat intends to devote himself to new tasks and challenges in the future. He has been replaced in the role of CFO of Biogas Nord AG by Ms Asnat Drouianov.

The Supervisory Board wishes to thank Mr Matthias Kubat for his work on behalf of Biogas Nord AG. Mr Kubat will provide consultation services to the company in the coming months.
