Supervisory Board resigns / Appointment of new Supervisory Board

Bielefeld, 6 April 2009. The entire Supervisory Board of Biogas Nord AG resigned on 31 March 2009, effective 31 March 2009. The decision to step down now allows a new Supervisory Board to be appointed by the court.

The new Supervisory Board will probably be composed of members  of the strategic investors Ludan Environmental Technologies Ltd. and Biopower S.A., which enabled Biogas Nord AG to continue its chosen strategy independently from the capital market environment by granting it a loan of 1.5 million euros. The new Supervisory Board will be announced as soon as possible and will be appointed by the court or by the next Annual General Meeting.
